July 3, 2007 Reminder—New York, Seattle, and Boston Seminars

The “Contract Drafting—Language and Layout” summer tour continues! Next up is Jones Beach New York on Wednesday, July 18th, Seattle on Wednesday, July 25th, and Boston on Thursday, August 2nd. For more information, go to the “Public Seminars” page of my website.

So far I’ve done L.A., Dallas, and Chicago. Interestingly enough, the dynamic has been slightly different in each city, but this is always a fun seminar to give. Most of those attending the seminars have been from companies, but there’s been a smattering of law-firm lawyers, a trend I welcome. I’d like to think that regardless of whether you’re in-house or in private practice and regardless of your level of seniority, if you work routinely with contracts you’ll find this seminar of value.

As with all such trips, the opportunities for seeing the sights are very limited. So far, my sole cultural experience while on the road has been a visit to Sonny Bryan’s, the barbeque joint, while I was in Dallas.

My company’s training department is arranging for me to attend the seminar scheduled to meet in Boston, Aug 02. So far, all my paperwork has been processed. Today, I was told that the only thing left is booking me in the seminar, which will be arranged towards the end of next week.

I have had recently the chance to read your great MSCD at random, and am eager to learn more from it.

My gut is telling me that this seminar will be of great value!

    Best regards,
    SAM
