The Next “Drafting Clearer Contracts” Presentation Is on 23 and 24 July 2025

The next Drafting Clearer Contracts presentation is on 23 and 24 July 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:10 p.m. Eastern Time (US). Go here for more information

Why should you consider registering? Because as I explain in this 2024 blog post, you cannot be an informed consumer of contract language without consulting my book A Manual of Style for Contract Drafting. In a review of the fourth edition, the Law Society Gazette (of England and Wales) said MSCD is “extraordinary.” And here’s part of an email a reader sent me recently (the full email is here):

I find myself reaching for [your manual] almost daily to help with so many documents, not all of them even being contracts! I feel as though transactional work is actually starting to make sense, and while I know I have a long ways to go, I just wanted to express my gratitude.

But MSCD is a fat book with its share of complexity, so a curated introduction can help you get into it faster. That’s what my training offers. It also shakes things up. Recent feedback from a participant:

Wow, what a way to turn someone’s world upside down and shake it before throwing it against the wall.

My presentation is one option for training. A more intensive option is my course Drafting Clearer Contracts: Masterclass. But all training is an introduction—becoming an informed consumer of contract language.

And to see why artificial intelligence is no substitute, see the blog post immediately before this one.
