Follow this Blog on Twitter

In this post from earlier this month, I expressed incredulity at the idea of my being able to make good use of Twitter—what I do doesn’t come in installments of no more than 140 characters.

But following up on a suggestion by commenter Jonathan Handel, I’ve arranged matters so that every time I post on the blog a tweet gets automatically generated with a headline and link to the blog post. If you’d like to receive those tweets, simply click here to go to my Twitter profile, then click on the “Follow” button. (If you haven’t already, you’ll need to open a free Twitter account.)

This use of Twitter simply represents an alternative to using Google Reader or signing up for my email updates. But who knows, once I get used to Twitter I may find myself crafting the odd tweet.
