A Year-End Note from Your Blogger

The first full year of the AdamsDrafting blog is winding to a close. Don’t worry, I’m not going to wax self-indulgently lyrical about the lot of the blogger. Instead, I just want to warn you that over the few three months I’ll have less time to devote to the blog, because I’ve promised the ABA that I’ll deliver to them in spring 2008 the manuscript for the second edition of MSCD.

Preparing the manuscript promises to be fun. It will essentially be an editing exercise, as the blog has prompted me to tackle a host of topic and has allowed me to give my thoughts a public airing. MSCD2 will be a vastly better book than if I had simply sat down at my desk to bang it out in solitude.

If you can think of any topics that I should address in MSCD2 that I didn’t include in MSCD or haven’t mentioned on the blog, by all means let me know.

MSCD2 will be coming out sometime next summer. I wouldn’t let that dissuade you from buying a copy of MSCD—I think you’d get your $30’s worth in the next eight or so months!

Incidentally, in the 2007 Blawggies Dennis Kennedy named the AdamsDrafting blog the best practice-specific legal blog. I appreciate that sort of acknowledgement.

With that, I wish you happy holidays and a happy new year!
