Check Out Next Week’s “Drafting Clearer Contracts” Presentation

Next week, on Monday and Tuesday, 11 and 12 June 2024, I’m doing a Drafting Clearer Contracts online presentation, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:10 p.m. ET (US). Go here for more information.

The fee is US$495, but if you’re a lawyer at a law firm with up to three lawyers, if you’re a contract manager, if you’re in government, if you’re with a not-for-profit, or if you’re a full-time student, that’s reduced to US$395 if you use the appropriate discount code. The same discount is available to groups of ten or more.

To repeat what I said in this post today about my other offering, Drafting Clearer Contracts: Masterclass, you cannot be an informed consumer of contract language without consulting A Manual of Style for Contract Drafting. But it’s a challenging topic, and the book isn’t easy, so a presentation would help ease you into MSCD.

A government agency contacted me about registering six of its people for this presentation; it ended up registering 11 people. If you want your organization to have a consistent approach to contract language, a Drafting Clearer Contracts presentation would be a good way to start.

One change I’ll implement by next week is that I’ll make available to presentation participants, for an additional fee, a series of automated quizzes on topics covered in the presentation.

  1. Mr. Adams,

Will this class cover digital contracts that would not have wet ink? I’d be curious about your thoughts on this topic.
